Mad March hares decor for kid's rooms.

Here we are on Easter Sunday...stuffed to the gills with chocolate eggs...and freezing in the Arctic temperatures!
But enough doom and gloom...it's also the last day of March so we've got some delightful mad-hare ideas for the kid's rooms.

Vintage floral wallpapers in kid's rooms.

I'm sure if I go back through my blog archives...I've looked at this before...but I'm beginning to think these will be the only flowers I see this Spring!
Another blanket of snow is lying over my garden and I fear that my first attempt at growing Spring bulbs will come to nothing...ah well, these designs not only remind me of warmer days to come, but of my childhood home in the early 70's...!

Wall decoration from Dreams and Wishes.

With paint brush in hand I've been busy over the last week or so, creating these murals....

Firstly, a few simple stars were added to an inky background for a celestial nursery...and I love it so much I'm going to do similar in my own bedroom!

And then I went to town in a young boy's room...who loves racing cars..!

The race car was based on a cartoon image found on the internet...

I'm not a great fan of excessive, detailed murals that overpower a room...but these examples prove simple designs can be just as effective....
