Decorating kid's rooms with letters.

Decorating our homes with imaginative and quirky slogans is still a popular trend with no signs of slowing down. Whether using vintage shop signs, old printing blocks or modern craft supplies there's a solution for every interior style...

Kid's room decor details.

It's the quirky little details in each and every kid's room that make me smile. So many ideas from so many imaginative people...long may it continue. The best ideas don't cost a fortune or require special skills to complete, just a playful nature and a desire for something different...
The following ideas are nothing too wacky but appeal to me right now.

The addition of wallpaper can create a feature all of it's own...whether in small doses...

...Or as a much bigger feature...

With the continuing popularity of washi tape, there's no excuse not to create your own unique features...

 ...Or wall art...

And who can resist oodles of bunting? This stuff was just made for kid's rooms...

Lighting can get overlooked when styling a kid's room...but not with these woolly jumpers!

The bed is usually the biggest item in a kid's room...so why not make a feature out of it...

Go for something practical but quirky...floor cushions are always a great idea for youngsters.

And where else can you colour-clash with confidence....

OK...there's not many rooms that can take a swing on this scale...but don't let that stop you...

Who says you shouldn't invest in child-size furniture...one useful piece will do no harm.

Cute kid's play shops.

I'm sitting at my desk...well, the dining room table, watching howling wind and driving rain fall....
But being confined to 'indoors' wouldn't be so bad if I had a little shop like one of these...

Shelf style...decorative storage.

I know it's tempting to hide most of your child's possessions behind closed doors, but resist the urge and put aside a few carefully chosen items to give their room a touch of individuality using simple shelving...like these examples...
