Wall drawing decor in kid's rooms...

Having previously posted about Washi tape and its numerous applications, I came across images for the Piccino kid's wear shop in Valencia, Spain...

If this is not an inspirational idea for Washi tape, I don't know what is...!
The interior itself was designed by the owner's kids and brought to life by the design company Masquespacio, also based in Valencia.
So what's stopping you from a little wall decoration of your own....here's some more ideas....

Have you succumbed to the 'washi tape' craze yet...?

What the heck is washi tape?
That's exactly what I said when I first heard of it...but now I'm a complete convert...and here's why...

Kids alphabet cushions DIY....

I spotted these alphabet cushions at typies recently and love the freedom to choose what message I want to send out...whether it be a name, an instruction or just a random fun word....

And then,....even better, I found a tutorial that shows you how to make them...so not only can I choose the individual letters, I can also make them out of fabrics that suit my interior tastes....
And so can you....right here....

Comfy sofas in kid's rooms.

Kid's rooms are becoming more of a social area these days, whether it be for entertaining friends in a more 'grown-up' environment or just slobbing out to watch a film, a sofa works well...great for impromptu sleep-overs too...

Kid's loft beds.

Elevating a kid's bed creates a whole load of extra floor space...and who wouldn't want more space in their kid's rooms...?

Vintage kid's toys at local market.

Just a quick post tonight...I've spent the day out and about at a vintage fair in nearby sunny Woodbridge....and just wanted to share with you a few toys that stirred up a touch of nostalgia....

These tin 'wind-ups' were in great condition and very colourful...loving the chickens!

And how about these poodles...?

Finally, these giant rubber teeth were a popular feature...apparently they were made for a toothpaste advert...!

These markets are a regular feature in Woodbridge...check out future dates on their website if you're liking what you see here....

Teeny-tiny study spaces.

With the kids back at school its likely there will be competition for space to complete the obligatory homework very soon...and these  examples prove you don't need to forgo too many square metres to oblige your young students...

If all else fails, you could always send them down to the shed...
